While looking for some employment I volunteering as a Program Assistant to Programming Director, Lisa Janti, Desert Rose Institute, Eloy, AZ. Check out  the 2008-2009 Programming Annual Report, the Program Team Biographies and my Youtube video below. We were all volunteers at Desert Rose.

The vision of "Desert Rose Baha’i Institute" (DRBI) is to create integrated programs of spiritually-based education for people of all ages. These programs especially focus upon the arts as the foundation of divine civilization and a powerful means for the development of human potential. The final goal of Desert Rose will be the establishment of a university for the fine arts in the future. DRBI is a community-based, Baha’i-inspired Center of Learning which promotes human development, spiritually, intellectually, artistically, and practically, through an expanding range of educational conferences, seminars, workshops and retreats for people of all ages and backgrounds.

The Program Team was a very unique team formed of 4 women between 55 and 75 yrs old offering their services to the community. They came from different places such as Costa Rica, Los Angeles and France. Each one of us was a great team player and experienced.in her work. My main goal was to actually find some paid job as soon as possible while helping around... Got to stay active until something comes around.
