Campground at Puerto Viejo de TalamancaThere we go. It was March 29, 2010 when Jeanette and I moved to Puerto Viejo de Talamanca, a small coastal town in Caribbean Costa Rica in the province of Limón. It is popular with surfers and backpackers. This is an area where foreigners are buying and building. There are two gorgeous National Parks nearby - Cahuita and Manzanillo, and it rains more than on the Pacific side, which is why it is so lush and green with the rainforest coming down to the sea.

Visit of Saguaro East, Arizona

Mar 17 2010
Visit of March 17, 2010 with Lisa Janti, Jeanette Roberts, Alexander de Groot, Kimberly Syphrett and me at the Saguaro National Monument which consists of two districts, Saguaro West and Saguaro East. The two areas, separated by the city of Tucson, are about 25 miles apart. Together Saguaro West and the much larger Saguaro East preserve 83,576 acres of the life and landscape of the Sonoran Desert, including the park's namesake, the saguaro.

I was lucky to be able to attend the LOS ANGELES conference, one o the 41 Conferences around the world: Los Angeles, USA (see my cell phone video below)

The Universal House of Justice, in a letter dated 20 October 2008, announced the convocation of a series of 41 regional conferences over a four-month period. The letter which marked the midway point of a five-year effort to expand activities at the grassroots level indicated that the purpose of the conferences is to celebrate achievements during the first half of the Five Year Plan and to deliberate on the next phase.

Moved to Arizona from Lyon, France

Sep 28 2008

France FranceOn september 2005, I moved back to France. On September 2008 I returned to the United States. Why? To be closer to my children and  because I missed the States too much.

I was Borned and raised in Villefranche-sur-Saône which lies 1 mile (1.6 km) west of the Saône River, and is around 25 kilometres (16 mi)north of Lyon in the region of Rhône-Alpes. The inhabitants of the town are called Caladois. Villefranche-sur-Saône was founded in 1212 by Guichard IV, count of Beaujeu, and became in the 14th century the capital of the Beaujolais province. It endured three sieges in the 15th and 16th centuries. The town walls were taken down early in the 19th century. The polution is around 35,000.
